Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance

vCard is a service operated by U-site ("U-site", "we") available at vcard.u-site.app. By signing up, using the platform or paying for a plan you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

• You must be of legal age or have authorization from your legal guardian.
• Registration data must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and API key confidential, and for everything that happens in your account.
• You may invite collaborators to your account; you are responsible for what they do in it.

3. Permitted use

vCard is for creating and sharing digital business cards, mini-websites and contact links for you or your business.

• Do not publish false or misleading information or impersonate another person or organization.
• Do not use the platform for spam, fraud, illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Do not attempt to breach security, scrape data in bulk or use the API beyond the documented limits.
• We may suspend or delete cards or accounts that break these rules, with prior notice when possible.

4. Plans, payments and renewals

• The Free plan is free of charge and has limits on cards and features. Paid plans and Premium extend those limits as described at /plans.
• Prices are shown in the currency of your profile country. The annual plan is charged upfront with the stated discount.
• Payments are processed by third-party gateways (dLocal, PayPal, Bold). We never store card data; the gateway applies its own terms.
• Card and PayPal subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel the renewal at any time from your dashboard or the gateway; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• Bank transfer or cash payments do not renew by themselves: when the plan expires you will need to pay again.
• A payment is confirmed when the gateway notifies us; the return screen does not activate the plan. If your payment was approved and the plan is not active within 24 hours, contact us.

5. Refunds

You may request a refund within 7 days of the first payment if you have not used paid features (extra cards, Premium, API). Renewals are non-refundable except for a verified billing error. Write to [email protected] with the account email and the payment reference.

6. Expiry and quota

• When a paid plan expires the account returns to the Free plan. Cards exceeding the Free quota are deactivated (no longer visible) but not deleted; they come back when you renew.
• A card inactive for more than 12 months with no plan may be deleted after notice to the account email.

7. Your content

• You keep all rights to the content you upload (text, photos, logos, links). You grant us a limited licence to host and display it in order to provide the service.
• You warrant that you are entitled to use that content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
• Cards are published at a unique URL. Anyone with the link can view them; you decide who you share it with.

8. Public directory

You can enable "show in directory" on a card so it can be found at vcard.u-site.app/buscar-vcard and by search engines. Only name, role, company, city and photo are shown; phone and email are not exposed in results. You can disable it at any time.

9. API, integrations and AI assistant

• Your API key identifies your account: everything created with it belongs to you and counts against your plan. Treat it like a password.
• The dashboard AI assistant and integrations (for example uMind) act on your account with your key; their answers may contain mistakes and you should review them.
• We may rate-limit API calls or suspend a key in case of abuse.

10. Intellectual property

The platform, its code, design, trademarks and processes belong to U-site. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell it without written permission.

11. Availability and support

• For paid plans we target 99% monthly availability, excluding scheduled maintenance and causes beyond our control (providers, networks, force majeure).
• Support by email ([email protected]) and WhatsApp, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Colombia time).

12. Limitation of liability

• vCard is provided "as is". We are not liable for how you use your cards or how they are distributed.
• We are not liable for information contained in deleted cards or cards with an expired plan, nor for indirect damages or lost profits.
• In any case our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.

13. Changes and termination

• We may change these terms. We will notify you by email and with a notice in the platform; continued use means acceptance.
• You can delete your account from your profile at any time.
• If U-site discontinues vCard, it will notify users with paid plans and keep cards active until the end of the contracted period, without renewal.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia. Contact: [email protected].
