Terms of Service

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms govern the use of vCard, the digital business card service by U-SITE S.A.S BIC. By creating an account or paying for a plan you accept them.

1. Who we are and acceptance

vCard (vcard.u-site.app) is operated by U-SITE S.A.S BIC ("U-site", "we"), NIT 901.846.435-1, domiciled in Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia (mailing address available on request at [email protected]). Phone: +57 316 895 0803. Email: [email protected].

By signing up, using the platform or paying for a plan you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Electronic acceptance is fully valid under Colombian Law 527 of 1999. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Registration data must be truthful and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and API key confidential and for everything that happens in your account.
  • You can invite collaborators to your account; you are responsible for what they do in it.

3. Acceptable use

vCard is for creating and sharing digital business cards, mini-websites and contact links for you or your business.

  • Do not publish false or misleading information or impersonate another person or organization.
  • Do not use the platform for spam, fraud, illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Do not attempt to breach security, scrape data in bulk or use the API beyond the documented limits.
  • We may suspend or remove cards or accounts that break these rules. We will notify the account email with the reason, except in urgent cases (fraud or risk to others), and you may ask us to review the decision.

4. Plans, prices and renewals

  • The Free plan is free of charge and has limits on cards and features. Paid plans and Premium extend those limits as described at /precios.
  • Prices are shown in the currency of your profile country and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The annual plan is charged upfront with the stated discount.
  • Payments are processed by third-party gateways (dLocal, PayPal, Bold). We do not store card data; the gateway applies its own terms.
  • Card (dLocal) or PayPal subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. We notify the account email 7, 3 and 1 days before expiry. You can cancel the renewal at any time from your dashboard or the gateway, as easily as you subscribed; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Bold, bank transfer or cash payments do not renew automatically: when the plan expires you will need to pay again.
  • A payment is confirmed when the gateway notifies us; the return screen does not activate the plan. If your payment was approved and the plan is not active within 24 hours, write to us.

5. Withdrawal, refunds and payment reversal

  • Right of withdrawal: since the purchase is made remotely, you may withdraw within five (5) business days after payment by writing to [email protected] with your account email and the payment reference. We will refund the full amount within thirty (30) calendar days. As this is a service, withdrawal does not apply if you have already started using the plan features (art. 47, Colombian Law 1480 of 2011).
  • In addition, as a voluntary benefit, we accept refund requests up to 7 calendar days after the first payment if you have not used paid features (extra cards, Premium, API). Renewals are non-refundable except for a proven billing error.
  • Payment reversal: if you paid by card or another electronic method and were a victim of fraud, did not request the transaction, did not receive the service or it does not match what was offered, you may request a reversal within five (5) business days after learning of it, by filing the complaint at [email protected] and notifying the issuer of your payment method (art. 51, Law 1480 of 2011).

6. Expiry and quota

  • When a paid plan expires, the account returns to the Free plan. Cards above the Free quota are deactivated (no longer visible) but not deleted; they are reactivated on renewal.
  • If a card has been inactive and without a plan for more than 12 months, we may delete it after notifying the account email.

7. Collecting payments from your clients

  • If you enable payments, U-site collects through Bold the payments your clients make to you from your vCard, deducts the commission shown in the dashboard before enabling payments (currently 5%) and credits the net amount to your balance.
  • You can request a payout of your balance from the minimum amount shown in the dashboard, to an account in your name.
  • If a payment is voided, reversed or charged back, the amount will be deducted from your balance.
  • You are solely responsible to your client for the goods or services sold, their invoicing and taxes.

8. Your content

  • You keep all rights to the content you upload (text, photos, logos, links). You grant us a limited license to host and display it in order to provide the service.
  • You warrant that you have the right to use that content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Cards are published at a unique URL. Anyone with the link can view them; you decide who to share it with.

9. Your contacts' data

If you receive personal data from third parties through the platform (contacts shared with you, appointments, reviews or client payments), you are the controller of that data under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012: you must use it only for the authorized purpose, handle the requests of the data subjects and not send them advertising without their authorization. U-site acts as your processor under the Privacy Policy, and these terms constitute the data transmission agreement between you and U-site.

10. Public directory

You can enable "appear in the directory" on a card so it can be found at vcard.u-site.app/buscar-vcard and by search engines. Only name, title, company, city and photo are shown; phone and email are not exposed in results. You can turn it off at any time.

11. API, integrations and AI assistants

  • The API key identifies your account: everything created with it is in your name and counts against your plan. Treat it like a password.
  • The dashboard AI assistant, assistants you connect via OAuth (MCP connector) and integrations act on your account with your permission; their answers may contain errors and you should review them. You can revoke their access at Help > AI assistant > Connected apps.
  • We may rate-limit API calls or suspend a key in case of abuse.

12. Intellectual property

The platform, its code, design, trademarks and processes belong to U-site. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell it without written authorization.

13. Availability, support and complaints

  • For paid plans we aim for 99% monthly availability, excluding scheduled maintenance and external causes (providers, networks, force majeure).
  • Support by email ([email protected]) and WhatsApp, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Colombia time).
  • Requests, complaints and claims: write to [email protected]. We respond within fifteen (15) business days. You may also contact the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (www.sic.gov.co).

14. Limitation of liability

  • We are not liable for how you use your cards or how they are shared.
  • We are not liable for information in deleted cards or cards with an expired plan, nor for indirect damages or lost profits.
  • Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.
  • Nothing in these terms limits the guarantees and rights granted to consumers by Colombian Law 1480 of 2011.

15. Changes and termination

  • If we change these terms we will notify you by email and on the platform at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect and we will refund the unused part of the paid period.
  • You can delete your account from your profile at any time.
  • If U-site discontinues vCard, it will notify paying users and keep cards active until the end of the contracted period, without renewal.

16. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, in particular Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute) and Law 527 of 1999. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia. Contact: [email protected].
