Payment terms
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These terms apply to payments you make from a vCard (“Pay” button) and to professionals who receive them with “Get paid with my vCard”. By paying or turning on payments you accept them.
1. Who receives your payment
When you pay from a vCard you are paying the professional or business that owns that card (the “seller”). U-SITE S.A.S BIC (“U-site”), Tax ID 901.846.435-1, only collects the payment on behalf of the seller through the Bold payment gateway and then transfers it to them.
U-site does not sell, provide, make or deliver the product or service you pay for, does not set its price and is not a party to the agreement between you and the seller.
2. Allowed amounts
- Each payment must be between US$ 2,00 USD and US$ 1.000,00 USD per transaction (in Colombian pesos, between $ 5.000 COP and $ 4.000.000 COP).
- Each account also has daily and monthly limits: a new account can receive up to US$ 500,00 USD per day and US$ 2.000,00 USD per month; with history, up to US$ 3.000,00 USD per day and US$ 10.000,00 USD per month. U-site may adjust these limits per account.
- Payments with risk signals (for example, repeated payments from the same client, split payments or payments from the seller themselves) stay under review and are not transferred to the seller until U-site reviews them.
- Splitting a payment to exceed the maximum is not allowed. If you need to pay more, agree on another method directly with the seller.
- The price is set by the seller and includes any taxes the seller must charge.
- Bold may apply its own limits, checks and declines for security.
3. Payment methods, security and receipt
- Payments are processed by Bold. U-site never sees or stores your card or account details.
- A payment is confirmed when Bold notifies us. The return page alone does not confirm it.
- You will receive a payment receipt by email. The receipt is not an invoice: if applicable, the seller issues the invoice.
4. Seller responsibility
- The seller is solely responsible for the product or service: its quality, suitability, safety, delivery, warranty, information and price.
- The seller is also responsible for invoicing, taxes, permits, licenses or professional credentials and for complying with the law that applies to their activity.
- The seller handles requests, complaints, warranties and returns related to what they sell.
5. U-site disclaimer
- U-site only provides the technology to collect payments. It does not verify or guarantee the seller’s identity, credentials, quality or performance, or the legality of what they offer.
- U-site is not liable for damages, losses, lost profits or claims arising from the relationship between buyer and seller, or for failures, delays or declines by Bold, banks or third parties.
- Except where the law does not allow it, U-site’s liability is limited to the fee it received for the payment in question.
- Nothing above limits the rights granted to consumers by Colombian Law 1480 of 2011.
6. Claims, refunds and chargebacks
- If you have a problem with what you paid for, first contact the seller with your receipt details.
- If the seller does not reply within five (5) business days, email [email protected] with your receipt number: we will forward the claim and, if the payment has not yet been transferred, we may hold it while it is resolved.
- Refunds accepted by the seller are returned to the same payment method, minus anything the gateway does not reimburse, unless the law says otherwise.
- Payment reversal: if you were a victim of fraud, did not request the transaction, did not receive the product or service or it does not match the offer, you may request a reversal under article 51 of Law 1480 of 2011 and Decree 587 of 2016 within five (5) business days of finding out, with your card issuer, and notify us at [email protected].
7. Prohibited uses
- vCard payments may not be used for illegal activities, money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion or to bypass controls.
- Nor for gambling, weapons, controlled substances, adult content, crypto assets, loans or fundraising, raffles, simulated donations or goods and services prohibited by law or by Bold.
- U-site may decline, hold or reverse suspicious payments, suspend a seller’s payments and report to authorities when required by law.
8. For sellers who turn on payments
- You authorize U-site to collect your clients’ payments on your behalf through Bold and to deduct a 5 % fee per approved payment, which includes the gateway cost.
- Each payment is on hold for 7 days before it can be withdrawn. Withdrawals are only sent to an account in your name.
- Voids, refunds, reversals and chargebacks, with their costs, are deducted from your balance; if it is not enough, you agree to pay the difference.
- You declare that the information you register is true, that you own the withdrawal account and that your income comes from lawful activities.
- You will hold U-site harmless (defend it and reimburse what it pays) against claims, penalties, fines, chargebacks or lawsuits from your clients, Bold or authorities arising from what you sell, your information or your breach of these terms or the law.
- U-site may change the limits, fee or hold period with prior notice, and suspend your payments if it detects fraud risk or a breach.
9. Personal data
To process the payment, your name, email and phone are shared with the seller and with Bold, and used to send your receipt and, once, ask for a review. Processing follows U-site’s Privacy policy.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. For questions or claims email [email protected].
